mountain guide.

Do you want to climb a four-thousand-meter peak? Or a lesser-known mountain whose summit is all the more challenging to reach? For example, a remote 3000m peak with wildly jagged ridges? Or how about an adventure in the tiny mountains of the Jura? I also know some great adventures in the small mountains.

You are a passionate skier, like narrow couloirs and steep descents? Or do you prefer gentle rambles through lonely forests and hills? Nerve-racking climbing on frozen waterfalls? Or immerse yourself in the tranquility of winter glaciers? I feel at home in any winter landscape.

Whether beginner or advanced, application or training - I am pleased to put together your desired program.

Tell me about your goal. I come along (almost) everywhere.

After graduating in Earth Sciences in 2013 and working as a geologist for a short time, I was drawn to journalism via internships at various media companies.

My passion is research and storytelling. In addition to my focus on alpinism, I also enjoy delving into very different topics.

In 2017 I had the pleasure of receiving the German Reporter Award and in 2018 the Nannen Award for the multimedia longform In Eisigen Tiefen.

Since 2015, I have been working as a freelance writer and video maker for various media companies.

I also like to combine my activities as an independent media creator (text & video) and mountain guide.

You are looking for support for your media project in the mountains? I am happy to work together.

According to the guidelines of the Swiss Mountain Guide Association, the fee of the mountain guide is CHF 700.00 per day. The price includes guiding and organization. Not included in the price are expenses of the mountain guide, travel and transport, overnight stay with half board for you and the mountain guide, snacks and personal material. For groups of 3 people or more, a market-adjusted flat rate is calculated, which will be communicated to the participants before the tour. The cost of a package is payable before the start of the tour.

The mountain guide decides 2 days before the start of the tour whether it is possible to carry out the planned tour. If the tour is cancelled by the mountain guide, no costs will be incurred. If the tour is cancelled by the participant, costs will be incurred according to the GTC of the Swiss Mountain Guide Association. The guest is responsible for a good insurance coverage. The following insurances are recommended: Cancellation insurance, health insurance, accident insurance and REGA- membership (swiss air rescue).

In mountain sports, a residual risk remains. The task of the mountain guide is to keep the risk to a minimum. By booking, the risks in the high mountains are acknowledged and you waive any liability claims against the mountain guide. The mountain guide is qualified for the planned activities, but not infallible.

The General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of the Swiss Mountain Guide Association (SBV) apply.
